Wear a wide-brimmed hat.
Avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks, because these drinks can draw water out of the body.
Be careful walking or exercising in the heat. Keep exercising in the shade if possible.
Avoid sunlight during the day until 3 pm, because the sun’s heat is very intense at these hours.
